We Updated the A View From My Seat Andoid App Last Night
Version 1.7 of the android app is out with interface changes to almost every page.

After you update or download it from the Google Play market you’ll see that the app now has slide pagination, like in Google’s mobile app market. The app opens on the featured photo page, swiping left will take you to the new photo page and swiping right will take you to all the sport specific pages.
You’ll also notice that this page is gridded. Under the word “Baseball” you’ll see three grey lines, clicking on this icon will change your layout to be either gridded or expanded view.

Next, lets say you swipe to the new photo page and you want all photo’s information to display you click on the lines. This screenshot shows you what that option looks like. The app will remember so all the subsequent pages you travel to will be shown in the layout you last chose.

After looking at all the interesting photos everyone has uploaded, you think “Hey, I’d like to contribute!” Click on the camera icon in the top right and a pop up appears that says “Select from Gallery” and “Take a Photo”. After you make your choice, you’ll go to go a page that lets you make minor tweaks to your photo’s look. If you are in the shade and the field is hard to see you can make it lighter. Maybe your photo is very bright you can dim it down a bit. If it’s a kind of grey overcast day and your photo is not very saturated you can now fix that.
You will be making any photo changes before adding the view specific information like venue, section, row, seat, home team, away team, rating, and comment.

After you have upload your photo you’ll see the success page has also been changed. In this screenshot you see the phrase “Auto-Sharing Off” where this is written if you have your Facebook, Twitter, and or Tumblr accounts linked up it will say which of those streams your photo was added to. If you don’t have these linked you can still share the photo by clicking on the “Share this Photo”.

After you have uploaded a photo, if you have an account, you’ll notice that you might have received a trophy and would like to see it. To do this click on the person profile next to the camera. From this page you can not only see your new trophies, plus your photos, favorites, and timeline. As you can see this is also where you go to add or turn off your Twitter, Facebook, and or Tumblr account.
